Description: Immediate opening for a Pediatric Physical Therapist in a multi-specialty pediatric outpatient clinic in Monterey, CA.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYER

We are a private outpatient clinic that provides individual therapy for babies through adults and offers social & Little One's classes for children ages 3-12 years old.

Compensation:
$50 - $62/per hour depending on experience.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a fun pediatric Physical Therapist to join our amazing team of therapists.

Your responsibilities will include, should you accept the challenge:

  • Evaluate and treat children
  • Develop individual care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
  • Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs
  • Provide quality, personalized, and evidence-based care and proven interventions
  • Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally
  • Promote clients' health by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
  • Consult and practice with other health professionals
  • Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
  • Document patient care services

Our pediatric multi-specialty clinic provides Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Hand Therapy, Aquatic Therapy, feeding team, social skills groups, and tutoring services. 

The patients are all ages from babies - teenagers, but most are younger. We take nearly all insurances and have a 40-50% military population. Only 1 patient is scheduled at a time and therapists are given 50 minutes for each client. 

We have a large sensory room in addition to private treatment rooms.

Some staff are single and others have families. Our oldest P.T. is a retired anatomy professor from UIC, is certified in NDT, and loves to share her wealth of knowledge with others.

On site we have a fun therapy clinic with multiple rooms and equipment to utilize.

Once a month to every other month we have a staff in-service in addition to offering $500 of continuing education per year.
