Description: Immediate opening for a Physical Therapist in outpatient clinic specializing in orthopedics, TMJ, pelvic floor and manual therapy in SE Portland, OR.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYER

Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic providing a wide range of services including manual therapy, osteopathic techniques, other modalities treating conditions such as TMJ/jaw pain, pelvic floor issues, Infant Craniosacral Therapy and orthopedic conditions.
Compensation:
$35/hr, negotiable

ABOUT THE POSITION

Our outpatient clinic is comprised of an expert team of compassionate and intuitive therapists with a combined track record of over nine decades of improving patients’ quality of life. We have served South East Portland since the 1980’s and our locally renowned team specializes in women’s health, orthopedics, TMJ, pelvic floor and manual therapy and would provide a rich environment for learning and growth in these areas. 

 
The clinic offers a relaxed and upbeat environment in a nice and quiet neighborhood within 20 minutes of downtown Portland.
 
We service patients in the age range of 12 - 80 years old using therapeutic yoga, Upledger cranial, Barral visceral, Frank Lowen work, muscle energy, mobilization, myofascial release, cupping, J&J biofeedback and more techniques helping patients recover and lead happy lives.
 
Your responsibilities will include evaluate and treat with successful outcomes a variety of patients, but especially anxious TMJ and pelvic floor patients. 
 
To fit into our team, you should be calm but upbeat, a group problem solver, caring, reliable, honest, responsible, creative, capable, motivated, teachable with a desire to deeper manual therapy skills. 
 
One 40 year therapist who is very skilled and a pelvic floor teaching assistant for two groups will be retiring in about 6 months.  She is willing to train.  The person taking this position will get exceptional training from an exceptional  person.  The rest of the staff will assist in training too.
Because of the training, I would like a 3 year commitment .
