Finding the right applicant is not the end of the hiring process, it's just the beginning. Once you've found the individual you think would be a perfect match, you've got to move fast. Unnecessary delays mean you not only risk losing
out to your competition, but you may end up leaving a key position unfilled, which could seriously impact your bottom line.
Let the candidate know (in no uncertain terms) you are interested. Be sure you know what they need in terms of compensation, benefits, schedule, etc. and then make an offer.
Don't hem and haw. Don't waste time. You need to remember, this person is looking for work and, in most cases, wanting to start right away. The longer you wait, the more likely
it is the applicant will find another position. Make an offer before it's too late or you may lose out on a potentially valuable member of your team.
